All-Wireless 16-Channel TDM/CS Closed-loop Stimulation System for Epilepsy Control

Description

In this project which is fully implemented by R. Ranjandish, a 16-channel TDM/CS system is proposed which is able to acquire its energy via a wireless link. The system works in time domain multiplexing (TDM) scheme, while it is in the recording mode in which it is transmitting the data. The system performs compressive sensing (CS) on the recorded signals while it is in the detection mode which reduces the detection power consumption. The transmitter has a narrow-band OOK architecture performing at 430 MHz. The receiver is a PWM-ASK which is receiving data via wireless power transfer (WPT) link. After detection of a seizure, the system provides stimulation bursts to the brain in order to stop the seizure.
